the mike estep band - (visit site)
I play bass with this band, and I put together a website for promotion and booking. It includes mp3 downloads, dynamically driven news and schedule, a PayPal-based store, and some other little tricks.

syracuse ad club - (visit site)
Working with a design template from 2ndNature, an interactive studio, this site was built for the Syracuse Ad Club, a professional organization for the advertising industry in Central New York. A membership directory, calendar of events and monthly newsletter are among the dynamic functions that are built into the site, all manageable by the client through an administrative interface I designed.

institute for the application of geospatial technology - (visit site)
A non-profit organization partially funded by NASA, IAGT helps educators, governments and businesses use the satellite imagery and other data collected by NASA. I put together this site "face-lift" in approximately two months. Much more is planned for this site, specifically online delivery of our data and products.
[This website was designed for the IAGT, my current employer. I am the lead designer on the project, and currently maintain and update the site.]

shamballa café and coffee roasters - (visit site)
This great local coffee shop is run by my friends Emmit and Jean Simpson, and they really needed a website that looked as cool as their warm, inviting space. A calendar of events highlights their open mike nights and poetry readings, the menu shows their wide variety of edibles, and I took all the pictures for the site to show off this downtown Baldwinsville treasure.

My friend Fred is a fishing guide along the streams and rivers here in upstate New York, so we built a woodsy site for him to stay in contact with clients and friends. Included is a WordPress blog, and a photo gallery is coming soon.

With campuses in Auburn and Fulton, NY, Cayuga Community College wanted an update to its site as a part of their marketing effort to potential students, as well as a resource for the college community. There are over 20 user administration areas for the faculty and staff to keep the content of the site current and relevant.

In conjunction with the GTI "Commish" Bill Whitwell, I designed and built this exciting and dynamic site for this great recreational golf enterprise. There is a ton of back end programming work here, featuring a ton of password-protected administration areas and a plethora of real-time statistics pulled from user entered data. Please email me for instructions on viewing a demo of the admin areas.

   singing valentines - (visit site)
The Spirit of Syracuse Chorus is a wonderful ladies barbershop-style A capella singing group, and they offer Singing Valentines every February for lovers in Syracuse and the surrounding area. I designed both their chorus site and the Singing Valentines site for them on a pro bono basis since this is a fundraiser for this great non-profit organization.

The Critics are a Syracuse, NY based band that is a heavy hitter in the wedding and club scene. I used bold colors, Javascript rollover effects and colorful imagery to accentuate the fun, party style of the band. This site was launched in July 2001.

   electrical resource *
We built this site as a place where marketers of electrical products can come to get research, suggestions and tips about marketing their products more effectively. This an ASP-based site that dynamically creates content for the pages via "includes" and database interaction. We made heavy use of Javascript, Flash, and cookies to enhance the user experience.
[This website was designed through Sage Marcom, Inc., my former employer. I was the lead designer on the project, but the site is currently maintained and updated by the EMA group.]
